$10,000 Boarding School Gift – Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter

The promoter is The Boarding School Collective ABN 94 192 663 418, Trangie NSW 2823.

  1. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to families residing in Australia who have a current boarding school student or a child who will commence boarding school no later than Term 1, 2029.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and be the parent or legal guardian of the student.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of The Boarding School Collective are not eligible to enter.

  1. How to Enter

To enter the draw, participants must complete all of the following steps during the competition period:

  1. Follow The Boarding School Collective on Instagram, Facebook, OR LinkedIn.
  2. Share the official competition post and tag a boarding family friend in the comments.
  3. Complete the entry form and in 200 words or less, tell us what a boarding school education means to your family – how could it open doors, shape your child’s future, and keep the spirt of the bush alive?
  4. Enter via the link in bio or at boardingschoolco.com.au.
  5. Subscribe to The Boarding School Collective eNewsletter and remain subscribed for 12 months.

Only one entry per family is permitted. Entries that do not meet all requirements will be deemed invalid.

  1. Competition Period

Entries open Monday 17 November 2025 and close at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Friday 5 December 2025.
The winner will be judged from Monday 8 December 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.

  1. Prize Details

  • One (1) winner will receive a $10,000 contribution toward boarding school fees.
  • The prize will be paid directly to the winning family’s nominated Australian boarding school.
  • The payment will be made in advance of Term 1, 2029, unless the winning student is already enrolled, in which case payment will be made before the start of the next school year (by arrangement between the family and school).
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.
  • The promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in the boarding school’s fee structure, enrolment status, or any decision made by the school in relation to the receipt of the funds.

  1. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected from the written entries from all eligible entries received.
  • The judging will take place from Monday 8 December 2025, in Trangie, NSW.
  • The winner will be notified via direct message and email within five (5) business days of the completion of judging.
  • The winner’s name will NOT be published on The Boarding School Collective’s social media channels and website due to privacy laws unless agreed on by winner.
  • The winner’s school, status of boarding student and location will be published on The Boarding School Collective’s social media channels.
  • If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, a new winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.

  1. Verification Requirements

Before the prize is paid, the winner must provide:

  • Evidence of current boarding school enrolment, or year of entry of prospective boarding school student.
  • Proof of identity and residency, such as a driver’s licence or utility bill.

Failure to provide proof may result in the prize being forfeited.

  1. General Conditions

  • By entering, participants agree to receive communications from The Boarding School Collective, including newsletters, updates, and future offers and remain subscribed for 12 months.
  • By entering, participants grant The Boarding School Collective a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and communicate any written component of their entry for marketing, promotional, and storytelling purposes across digital and print platforms, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, and the website. The Promoter agrees that all content will be used respectfully and in a manner consistent with the organisation’s values.The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries, disqualify participants who breach these Terms & Conditions, or amend the competition if necessary.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries or any technical difficulties that may prevent entry.
  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn or any Australian boarding school.
  • Entrants fully release these platforms and all Australian boarding schools from any liability arising out of participation in this competition.

  1. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and in accordance with The Boarding School Collective’s Privacy Policy, available at www.boardingschoolco.com.au/privacy.

  1. Promoter’s Decision

The Promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of this competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
