Generation Next : Ten Ways to Be A Good Teen Role Model

Share

We are a big fan of the blog by Generation Next – an online resource aimed at protecting and enhancing the wellbeing of our children and teenagers. We recently published our own article on this topic but thought it would be good to share another viewpoint on the issue.

Dr Ramesh Manocha has developed Generation Next in close consultation with Australian experts to help address the rising tide of mental, social and emotional challenges affecting young people in todays society.

In a recent blog post, Helen Splarn expands on the importance of setting up good role models and the ten best ways to become one. This is a great article as it focusses on teenagers and the specific issues relating to this age group.

Helen Splarn’s key message promotes the importance of encouraging healthy lifestyle through exercise, postive thinking and providing support, amongst others.

Can you think of any more ways to be a good role model to teenagers?
