St Joseph’s Nudgee College, a proud Catholic boarding school for boys located in Brisbane’s inner-north, provides students with valuable opportunities to develop their independence, resilience and confidence. Nudgee College Boarding ensures that each boarder embodies the values of Trust, Courage, Faith, and Family and is a happy and healthy young man. The boys’ emotional and physical health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to the College. The on-campus Health Centre provides 24/7 care to students, ensuring that at any time, day or night, they can receive the care they need. The kitchen is staffed with chefs who prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals. Every member of the Boarding team is dedicated to building a strong rapport with the boys in their care, so they can support them during hard times, and celebrate with them during moments of success.

The academic life of Nudgee College is shaped by enthusiastic and highly-skilled teachers who are committed to bringing out the best in all of their students. This, combined with the rich diversity of subject offerings, innovative use of technology and state-of-the-art facilities creates an exceptional learning environment where all boys are able to grow, be challenged and thrive.

Boarders have access to world-class facilities, both during class and after school, across the College’s expansive 136 hectare campus.

The College is a member of the Queensland Greater Public Schools (GPS) Association, which provides a healthy and social opportunity for large numbers of boys to take part in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. These include Cricket, Debating, Rowing, Swimming, Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Tennis, Basketball, Chess, Rugby, and Track and Field. In addition, the College has an Agricultural Centre on-site, which is home to our award-winning Cattle Club. The boys are also able to take part in various, extra-curricular music and drama opportunities, including the biennial College Musical.

Nudgee College Boarding won the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) Boarding School of the Year Award at the Australian Education Awards.
