St Scholastica’s College is a Catholic day and boarding school for girls. It is located in Glebe Point on a secluded and green campus a couple of blocks away from Glebe Point Road which connects Parramatta Road to Blackwattle Bay. The College is a five minute drive from the Central Business District of Sydney and in close proximity to Sydney University and UTS.

The Boarding community provides quality residential care for up to 80 boarders and offers places for girls in Years 7 – 12. Students come from a wide variety of cultures, backgrounds and locations including country, city and overseas, forming a truly global community. The Boarding College works in partnership with parents in the care and education of their daughters, aiming to create a welcoming and safe environment for students, families and staff.

Students are encouraged to develop respect for self and mutual care and responsibility for others, in keeping with the College motto PAX (PEACE). Community living assists students to become aware of and respond to the wider social and cultural realities of our world. There is no doubt that the Boarding College adds a very special dimension of community to the experience of being a student at St Scholastica’s.

Boarding students are encouraged to participate in Saturday sport – including touch football, netball, water polo, dragon boating, volleyball, basketball and indoor soccer. Girls are driven to and from these activities in the College bus.

An excellent music program is offered which encompasses choirs, instrumental ensembles, bands and chamber orchestras. Girls are encouraged to join these groups to nurture and extend their musical talents.
